Wow, it is so sad to hear about the inablity to 'Play' and enjoy their free time. I bet with some practice, and some instruction from Bob, Dillion, Yo and the boys will have a chance to learn to play and have fun. I will continue to pray for their 'fun times'. Recess and play are so important for development . . . I'm glad your there Dawn to help teach the adults too! Keep up all the good work and one day Dillion will totally understand why you buy things you don't need while in a 3rd world country . . . it's much different than doing that here at home! Life lessons, you are teaching him well, I can't wait to hear of his experience in his own words. Love and Blessings Wendy

I have been thinking of you often today as those of use "left behind" shared our Haiti experiences with Greenskyhill Indian Mission and Horton Bay UMC. I sure wish I knew your team leader Dillion. My leader never said I could take a Gameboy to church. It can be difficult sitting in the heat at church and then also not being able to understand the language. The Gameboy should have helped.

Don't worry about the smiles. Maybe the boys just need to get to know you. That should happen by about the time you're ready to come home. They will be just that much more expectant for your return. It is great to hear how most everything has worked out just the way God planned. It really is amazing.

Remember the "Code of Missionary Money", don't come home with money you could have spent, especially since you have it with you, so you must have intended it to be spent. Even the things you don't need become precious items as you think of how you got it.
Take care and beblessed, Ann
